Community Foundation seeks board members for 2024

Join us in creating innovative solutions and with our community partners make deep, impactful change in our region. As a Community Foundation, we seek board members who are connected with and represent our community. In selecting new board members, we welcome people who can bring a unique voice of community with them, broadening our reach to make the strongest impact.

The Community Foundation seeks candidates who are committed to community leadership, particularly in areas of promoting justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and leaning into impact. We are seeking applicants to join our board June 2024. We will consider a variety of factors including each candidate’s background and experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated passion for strengthening community
  • Reside in our service area
  • Demonstrated integrity, objectivity, care and discipline
  • Commitment to collaborative, generative leadership
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Foundation’s mission and values


Board prerequisites include:

  • Ability to attend four to five board meetings annually. Faithful attendance and active participation is high value for us.
  • Ability to participate on at least one Foundation committee (typically meeting four to six times annually)
  • Ability to commit to a three-year term with the potential for a second three-year term
  • Willingness to serve as a Foundation ambassador in the community, sharing your expertise, passion, and community care.
