Paul Antonich Scholarship Fund
Paul Antonich Scholarship Fund honors Paul's spirit by providing a scholarship to an ISD #709 high school senior boy on the track and/or cross-country team. The recipient is a student who encourages others, demonstrates dedication & good citizenship, and promotes team unity. The candidates must also show respect and dignity toward others as Paul did. Darrell and Palchie Asselin Scholarship Fund
Darrell and Palchie Asselin Scholarship Fund was created as a memorial to provide financial assistance to the non-traditional student in financial need. Details

William E. Barto Scholarship Fund
William E. Barto Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to high school seniors of Duluth and Superior who plan to major in the arts and attend the University of Minnesota Duluth or the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Details

Bernard B. and Mary L. Brusin Scholarship Fund
Bernard B. Brusin and Mary L. Brusin Scholarship Fund, established as a memorial, provides renewable scholarships to Jewish and Roman Catholic students for college or vocational training. Details

Kathryn A. Bullyan Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Kathryn A. Bullyan Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance for graduating high school seniors from Hermantown High School. The award may be used for post-secondary education at any post-secondary school. Although academic achievement is important, exemplary participation in community and school activities and volunteerism will take precedence in the selection process. Details

Allen Butler Minority Law Enforcement Scholarship Temporary Fund
Allen Butler Minority Law Enforcement Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to people of color to begin or continue law enforcement training at a post-secondary institution. Details

Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial Scholarship
The Clayton Jackson McGhie Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to students of the Duluth/Superior area in order that they can pursue their goals of higher education. Winners will be selected on the basis of an original essay or other type of creative submission demonstrating contribution to and/or understanding of race relations within their community. Details

Duluth Building & Construction Trades Council Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to children of members of unions affiliated with the Duluth Building Trades Council. Details

The Duluth Central High School Alumni Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to graduating seniors of Central High School to help them achieve their educational goals. Details

Duluth Central Sports Association Legacy Scholarship
The purpose of the Duluth Central Sports Association Legacy Scholarship Fund is to provide financial awards to graduating senior athletes of Duluth public high schools who reside in the geographic area traditionally served by Duluth Central High School. The award is to be used for full-time, post secondary education at accredited two-year or four-year colleges and universities. Details

Julie Enberg Memorial Scholarship Fund
Julie Enberg Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to female undergraduate athletes at the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Fund was established to honor Julie's dedication to sports, especially hockey, and her commitment to both her community and the University of Minnesota Duluth. Details

Peter M. Gargano Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to the children of the employees of Ulland Brothers for post-secondary education. Details

Gernander Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for post-secondary education to graduating seniors of Denfeld High School with demonstrated good character who combine athletic and academic accomplishments. Details

Patricia S. Gustafson '56 Memorial Scholarship Fund
Patricia S. Gustafson '56 Memorial Scholarship Fund will award a renewable scholarship to a graduating female senior from Denfeld High School or the Marshall School who exemplifies the life of Patricia Gustafson. Details

Jeanne H. Hemmingway Scholarship Fund
Jeanne H. Hemmingway Scholarship Fund was established in 1990 as a memorial to Jeanne Hemmingway. The scholarship is designed to assist students with financial need from the three counties of Minnesota's Arrowhead region to attend the area's largest school, the University of Minnesota Duluth. Gus & Henrietta Hill Scholarship
Gus and Henrietta Hill Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for post-secondary education to Duluth East High School graduates. The Fund was created through a bequest from Henrietta Hill in memory of her grandson, Roger C. Hill, Jr. Details

Max and Julia Houghton Duluth Central Scholarship Fund
Max and Julia Houghton Duluth Central Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to graduating Central seniors for post-secondary education. Details

Greg Irons Award
Greg Irons Award Fund honors the tenets and beliefs of Greg Irons by recognizing and rewarding the efforts of students in Duluth Public Schools and teachers who help students succeed. Details

Jackson Club Scholarship Fund
Jackson Club Scholarship Fund will provide financial awards for post secondary education, including college and vocational training to graduating seniors from Hermantown High School. Details

Cory Jam Memorial Award
Cory Jam Memorial Award Fund, created with gifts from family and friends, provides a scholarship for a Duluth East High School graduate. Details

Lake Superior Medical Society Tilderquist Scholarship Fund
The Lake Superior Medical Society Tilderquist Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships for students attending the University of Minnesota - Duluth Medical School. Details

Fred C. and Mary H. Lewis Scholarship Fund
Fred C. and Mary H. Lewis Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for deserving and needy students who could not otherwise afford to attend Marshall School, a private college preparatory school in Duluth, Minnesota. Details

Minnesota Section Society of Mining Metallurgy and Exploration Scholarship Fund
Minnesota Section, Society of Mining Metallurgy and Exploration Scholarship Fund provides scholarships and/or loans to individuals for the undergraduate study of engineering. The fund gives priority to those who express an interest in working in the mining industry in Minnesota. Details

Modern Woodmen of America Scholarship Fund
Modern Woodmen of America Scholarship Fund was established by the Duluth Camp No. 2341 Modern Woodmen of America to provide assistance to the non-traditional student in financial need. Details

Daniel H. and Catherine L. Mundt Scholarship Fund for Late Bloomers
Daniel H. and Catherine L. Mundt for Late Bloomers will provide financial assistance for students with potential from the three public high schools in Duluth. The award may be used for post-secondary education, including four-year colleges and universities and graduate schools. Details

Hubert A. Nelson Scholarship Fund
Hubert A. Nelson Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for Duluth and Superior high school seniors who intend to major in business or accounting at the University of Minnesota Duluth or the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Details

Amelia and Emanuel Nessell Family Scholarship Fund
Amelia and Emanuel Nessell Family Scholarship Fund, established as a memorial, provides financial assistance for students in financial need, with priority consideration to Jewish applicants Details

Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund
The Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund was established as part of the Community Foundation's 25th anniversary celebration to provide an outlet for previous winners of DSACF administered scholarships to return their scholarship winnings to the DSACF to assist subsequent generations of students in the Twin Ports area. The DSACF Scholarship Committee has recommended that past scholarship winners give an annual gift of $10 for every year they are out of school. Details

Richard B. Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund
Richard B. Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to students graduating from the Duluth Public Schools who are pursuing an elementary or secondary Education degree. Details

G. Scott Ransom Scholarship Fund of the Duluth/Superior Alpine Club
G. Scott Ransom Scholarship Fund of the Duluth/Superior Alpine Club will provide financial awards, for expenses associated with pursuing a competitive ski experience. Details

Dr. Mark Rathke Family Scholarship Fund
Dr. Mark Rathke Family Scholarship Fund, established as a memorial, provides a scholarship to a graduating senior of the Marshall School who has demonstrated school and/or community involvement, leadership qualities, and hard-working behavior. The scholarship can be used at any accredited college or university. Details

Daniel Patrick Riley Memorial Scholarship
The Daniel Patrick Riley Memorial Scholarship was created to provide financial support to high school graduates of Cook County High School who wish to pursue an education in Liberal Arts. The award may be used for full time enrollment at any accredited four year college or university. Details

Steve Rolland Youth Peacemaker Award
Steve Rolland Youth Peacemaker Award Fund honors youth who undertake community peacemaking activities in the Duluth area. Details

Jack and Mary Rowe Memorial Scholarship Fund
Jack and Mary Rowe Memorial Scholarship Fund will reward excellence in academic performance to students from public high schools in Duluth, Hermantown, and Proctor who are pursuing a career in engineering. Details

Lawrence E. and Mabel Jackson Rudberg Scholarship Fund
Lawrence E. and Mabel Jackson Rudberg Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for post-secondary education to graduating seniors from Two Harbors Senior High School and from Duluth public and private high schools. Special distributions from the Fund also support a nonprofit program in the area. Details

Saturn Systems Scholarship Fund
The Saturn Systems Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors from high schools within the service area of the Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation who are committed to pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance, high personal character and, above all, a passion for Computer Science. Details

Kenneth and Concetta Schoen Scholarship Fund
Kenneth and Concetta Schoen Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance for students with potential from the three public high schools in Duluth. The award may be used for post-secondary education, including four-year colleges and universities and graduate schools. Details

Phil Shykes Memorial Scholarship Fund
Phil Shykes Memorial Scholarship Fund provides a scholarship to a graduating senior of the Hermantown High School. The scholarship can be used at any post-secondary vocational college, community college, or other college or university. Details

Small Business Education Scholarship Fund
Small Business Education Fund originated with a grant from the Employers Council. The purpose of this fund is to encourage the creation and retention of jobs throughout the service area of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation through a tuition assistance program designed to strengthen the management skills of those in small business. Details

Dale and Betty George Sola Scholarship Fund
Dale and Betty George Sola Scholarship Fund, now in its sixth year, provides financial assistance for graduating seniors from Duluth Central High School, the Marshall School, and several alternative schools in Duluth. Details

Jean Quinn Sullivan Scholarship Fund
Jean Quinn Sullivan Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to students majoring in education, with priority given to those who express an interest in elementary education. The award may be used for post-secondary education at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Details

John A. Sullivan Scholarship Fund
John A. Sullivan Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for students majoring in education at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Details

Superior East All-Class Reunion Scholarship Fund
Superior East High All-Class Reunion Scholarship Fund provides a scholarship to a graduate of Superior East High School or to the child or grandchild of a graduate of Superior East High School. Details

Superior Shores Resort Scholarship Fund
Superior Shores Resort Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to students from the Lake Superior School District (Two Harbors & Silver Bay) who are pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. Details

Ulland Brothers Inc. Scholarship Fund
Ulland Brothers Inc. Scholarship is a renewable award which provides financial assistance to the children of Ulland Brothers Inc. employees. Recipients are encouraged to investigate a career in the construction industry. Details

Charlotte Ulland Scholarship Fund for Girls
The Charlotte Ulland Scholarship Fund for Girls is to provide financial assistance for a female graduating high school senior from public high schools on Lake Superior's North Shore. Details

Robert B. and Sophia Whiteside Scholarship Fund
Robert B. and Sophia Whiteside Scholarship Fund was established in 1976 in memory of the pioneer Duluth lumberman and his wife, and later affiliated with the Community Foundation. This Fund awards scholarships to graduating seniors of Duluth high schools who give evidence of academic excellence, high character, demonstrated leadership, and promise of contributing to the betterment of society.
