A gift to the Two Harbors Area Fund is truly an everlasting gift to the community.
As an affiliate fund of the Duluth
Superior Area Community Foundation, the Two Harbors Area Fund
enjoys the benefit of an experienced staff, administration support, and the
advantage of pooling resources for investment.
Where does my gift go?
Gifts to the Two Harbors Area Fund are pooled
with other donations to provide grants in the region. Annual grant
recommendations are made up by the Two Harbors Area Fund Advisory
Board. The Board consists of residents, business leaders, and community members
representing the broad interests of the community. Recommendations made by the
advisory board are approved by the Board of Trustees of the Duluth Superior
Area Community Foundation, which takes care of final distribution of funds.
Unrestricted gifts to the Two Harbors Area Fund support
projects in six areas: arts, environment, human rights, adult education, civic
projects, and community, youth and family services.
